Frank Heydrich Watch Collectors Registry

Watch No. 39 - Name: "Survivor"

Collected By: Doyle Madsen, Phoenix, AZ

Dial: Gibeon Meteorite Blue

Movement: Manual wind custom gold plated skeletonized ETA mechanical 17 Jewel Swiss movement with hour and minute hands (28,800 beats per hour)

Case:Swiss Victorinox Pocket watch case, 316 stainless steel, modified to add a display back

Crystal: Scratch resistant Sapphire

Retention: Stingray band plus 22mm solid link brushed/polished bracelet with double deployant clasp

Hands:Black sword hands with white lume

This skeletonized movement can be seen beating through the open heart. You can also see when the spring is fully wound and all the gears are visible from the display back.

I was asked to convert a plain modern pocket watch with a quartz movement into something with one of my blue meteorites and a mechanical movement. I also cut a display window in the back so the beautiful skeleton movement can be seen.
